Points positifs

Baigner constamment dans les tendances de mode

Points négatifs

Évolution de carrière extrêmement longue

Decent job when in high school

Honestly wouldn't work this job past 18. Pay isn't good and hours changed each week. Management really had no idea what they were doing. But fun to be around people your age. Only benefit

Enjoyed

My first job. Loved it. Managers and co-workers are awesome. Everyone is young, so it’s cool to have a manager that gets you. Work culture is fun, laid back

Not really that great

Eh, it could be better. Okay to have coming out of college, but do not get stuck here. Day to day work culture is okay with associates and store level management, however upper management (regional and district) was terrible and toxic.

Hold your breath for any hopes of job advancement

Leadership was lacking in training and development for any individuals hoping to promote up. Majority of learning the culture is thru tribal learning. Very political, so if you have no buy in with field leaders then your dead in the water. If hired, definitely build your resume and keep it moving.

Points positifs

15% off purchases

Points négatifs

No growth, company still has a frat boy mentality.

Alright

Overall it was alright. The people you work with and are serious about being there are great. Other people who are just looking for a part time job can be a little unprofessional.

Points positifs

colleges

Points négatifs

management

Fun work place

I worked Abercrombie and let me tell you! Everyone was nice there, The only reason I left was because I found a better opportunity in paying. But if it wasn’t for that I would have stayed 100%.

Lots of learning opportunities

A&F is a great place to work at if you want to learn about customer service and/or learn how to do multiple task. It's a fun environment to work in. The managers make you feel welcomed and at home. Connecting with customers is the most fun.

Points positifs

Great team, Great management

Points négatifs

Short staffed

Fun and easy job

Great place to work. There can be lots of drama, however it was dealt with appropriately. Supportive upper management and you don't have to sell your soul for the company, work/home life balance is perfect.

Points positifs

Points négatifs

drama

Great place to work with same age coworkers.

Great place to work with same age coworkers. Times can get stressful like Black Friday but that’s with any retail job. Management at my store was amazing and I became friends with all my coworkers.

Points positifs

Great people

Points négatifs

It’s any other retail job

Great coworkers, awesome customers

The energy was great, you meet a lot of cool people from around the world at the fifth avenue location. The management team help you improve your customer service. The clothes were trendy and appealing.

Points positifs

Flexible hours

Points négatifs

On your feet most of the day

Super stressful!

I was a manager at Abercrombie and Hollister, they really don’t care much about you as a person, they only care about you exceeding the expectations under so much pressure, working over 50hrs per week, also after the 40th hr you’ll get paid less than the associates, because you’re “under salary”. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to work here.

Points positifs

Good benefits, health care, vision, dental, 401k, life insurance

Points négatifs

Underpay for all the job you have to get done

It was good

It was good. Just a retail job during high school and college. Good perks and good schedule availability. Similar to other retail jobs where you have to work holidays and weekends.

productive and busy most times. no advancement

typical day at work was cleaning before opening up, after store opens you’ll get returns/exchanges and pretty much chills for a bit before things get hectic. easy job, customers are as u would expect. as for management/co-workers they were all nice and fun to be with. if it wasn’t for them i wouldn’t have stayed for as long as i did!

Don’t waste your time.

The company is a joke. It's not the place to build a career. Every other retailer pays more. Go to Enterprise, you will make 55-60k as an assistant manager. They also have a manager in training program. Try CVS, they pay better also. Make Abercrombie the last place you look. The work environment is very toxic.

Fun workplace but low pay

The people there are great and it’s a great job but the only negative is the pay. Everything else about the store is great but upper management really needs to fix their pay scale.

Points positifs

Employee discount.

Points négatifs

Not enough pay.

Laid back job, smells good

It’s a very flexible job. Normally I would get the times off that I requested. It can be tiring on the feet if your work as a stock associate. If you have a BA/BS degree you can work as a manager-in-training then move up to manager…I was asked a few time, but I had no interest in working those holidays as a manager!! But they need more diversity on the ages that they hire. I’d like to see 20-40 year olds working as models and not just early 20s or late teens.

Points positifs

Discount on clothes

First time job

Pretty easy for a first time job. Shifts can vary depending if management wants you around. Easy to ask for time off by requesting through their online portal. I had asked for 6 months off no question asked, while easily returning back to the job.

Great company

It’s a great job to have if you are looking for a learning experience as a sales representative. I worked there for over 3 years and I learned so much about work culture and customer service.

Great starting job

Great place to start your career. Its a work hard play hard environment. Learn from your leaders and you will get promoted. Being a SM is the best position because you get to make your schedule
