Established in 2012, and registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, the Centre for Transforming India (CFTI) is a non-profit organization, founded by passionate young individuals who aim to make a difference to the society. Driven by the dream of empowering rural India, the dynamic and young trustees include an MD of a prominent newspaper, businessmen, and foreign-educated graduates. We work with focused attention on people at the grassroots by creating opportunities through education, health care & economic activities. With a committed team of 700-plus volunteers, we primarily engage in the fields of education, women empowerment and undertake activities to alleviate poverty, provide disaster-relief, medical aid, etc. For instance, in the current pandemic, our team has been working relentlessly and extensively in Covid-relief tasks. We have till date vaccinated over 8,000 people residing in rural areas and remote interiors of western India.Voir moins
