Lean how to manage stress generated by employees and clients
You work long hours for minimum wage no benifits. they can replace you at the drop of a dime. Its not very safe numerous time ive seen driver get robbed. When needing reports filled out they don't like to get them done or help you get them. They aren't good at making sure you get breaks ever.
No breaks poor management
I loved working for dominos for quite some time, I had a great general manager who cared about the employees however the owner of the store was very inconsiderate. He did not seem to care about his employees, he would often expect delivery drivers to deliver in extremely harsh conditions. The pay rate is horrible considering the work you put into the job. Overall it is not a bad job if you have a good general manager. I would recommend this job for people starting out.
Free food occasionally, fast paced environment
No lunch breaks, bad pay rate

good experience to work with dominos pizza . management is good and mainly focus on staff growth increasing positive atmosphere and fun at work at big days
Great work enviornment and managers are awesome but 9 dollars an hour as manger and work 6-7 days a week 8-11 hours shifts depending on the night would not recommend it if you want a social life and be on a normal schedule and your not paid enough for what you do and they will constantly tell you 2 more months from now and you could be a general store manager 2 months go by it will never happen they will tell you 2 more months we just need more out of you then 8-12 hours a week every night for 6 days to be able to make you a manger.
Awesome co workers, chill vibes
Raises are no existent and you have to accept you’ll always be under paid for what you put in
Dominos is a fantastic company to work for there like family but the district managers and up are difficult and impossible to work for as a manager they want you to work all the time and regardless of your loyalty ect ...
Free pizza (depending on franchise)
Difficult upper management
Don’t get me wrong Dominos is definitely not the worst in the world they just need a lot of improvement! When it comes to management and pretty much everything else. They will definitely take advantage of your willingness to help so make sure you set boundaries from the start. It can be very tiring and draining because the higher ups really don’t care about anything but their own bonuses. If you’re not a GM or Supervisor and everything about the two there is really no benefits at domino’s except for the required paychecks. In my franchise we do not get free food or free anything lol there’s a employee discount that is only for pizzas, pastas, and cheese bread, and sandwiches. Everything else we pay full price for. Some franchises allow their employees to take food ( you would think that’s for all but every franchise is different I obviously have greedy owners ). Also the drivers have to pay $30 for coats that dominos wants them to wear because they can’t have personal jackets. So either pay $30 freeze to death during cold weather. Same with beanies. They give the beanies for free but you can only wear it if you have the $30 jacket on and pants. There is a strict uniform. Have to have dominos hat, shirt. Only black pants or shorts. Any color shoes except for neon. You can have facial piercings but it’s limited. I would check with the employees for sure about uniform because like I said every franchise has different rules
Having an amazing manager was a big plus working with the company. Started off as a driver and got promoted into an assistant manager by working really hard and showing what I can do.
Free food, long breaks, tips
Pay was really low
As an assistant manager 11/hr is not enough pay for the amount of things you have to do.the work place is so stressful especially when its busy theres always no one to help or someone who is not trained enough dominos is always in need of people due to people leaving . They pay 11 dollars plus tips but you cant even get tips because the cashier is always taking the customers while you work your butt off making everything and cleaning so it really not worth it dont recommend it
Free food sometime
No time for your life
It's a straightforward job, all positions help answer phones and remove food from oven/box it up, some drivers know how to make food too and that's helpful. Assistant managers do everything but get a terrible pay. Can be overwhelming when busy, don't expect to get off at your scheduled time if it is. If they paid more the job would've been way more bearable, honestly, it isn't hard. Just not worth the stress for the wage given.
Free food if it's cancelled
Bad pay, long hours
Working here is highly stressful and fast paced. They pay minimal and ask for a lot out of you. They offer no benefits. It's a good job for teens still in school, but otherwise you get overworked. The best thing about working here, is that your coworkers become family. Management is hit or miss. If you are management then you have no life outside of work. And due to people quitting so often youre always understaffed and people are undertrained causing back ups, which get extremely stressful.
Coworkers become family
No benefits, low pay, stressful, demanding, high workload
Worked here for almost 10 years. Could be a ok place to work. Just mostly depends on the people who own the store. Met a lot of great people there. Nobody is paid well though. Just part of the restaurant business. Very hard to get fired from what I've seen though. Most terminations happen because of drugs or people trying to fight others.
Your experience at Dominos will rely heavily on the management at your store. Good management will make your average workday fairly enjoyable, with good prep before rushes so that you are not scrambling while there's orders coming in. Bad management will make even a small rush seem to take forever if there is no food or sides prepped for it.
5% 401K match, employee stock program
short to no breaks, mostly night shifts
