Worst work experience. Understaffed, office politics, abandoned by line manager. Not to be trusted. Great salary and office environment. Started at 8am finish at 4.30 then worked from home till midnight every single day

Good place to work with good benefits, however, the pay is not as good as you would expect. Poor management team, in fact extremely unprofessional and very rude, some of them could not even be bothered to answer important messages, not alot of interest in the personnel unless you one of the chosen few!!

I really did love working for GE Healthcare. There are opportunities for advancements. The company cares for their employees and they attempt to balance work/life. I had an excellent experience working for GE. They care for their employees, they make every effort to express how important each member of team is valued. It was a challenging position, GE realizes this and strives to provide support for their employees. It would be extremely difficult to find a better company to work for.

Where to start. HR/management are a joke. They don’t understand how to handle situations especially what’s legal or not. When I was first hired they messed up my paycheck by $500 and told me I’d have to wait another two weeks just to see that money. Should have been my first sign. If you work the 2nd or 3rd shift you’re good because they expect the bare minimum from you and throw all the responsibilities and work on the 1st shift. The inventory is an absolute mess, nobody cares about that place because they throw parts wherever they feel like. Or manager constantly demanded that we fix computer errors that other shifts forgot about which is a big no-no or so the policy says but I realized they don’t even understand their own policy. They owed me hours on hours of time and I never got a response from management about it. They would use my personal time instead of sick time when you call out because you can’t schedule sick time. Waited until the end of the day to throw a whole work load of stuff at us and expect it done within the hour.

Overall, the workplace was productive, until the parent company imposed cutbacks and layoffs! As a result, all of the productive gains with the system had diminishing returns, since the cutbacks on the project (software & hardware) were trimmed down to 50% of the original design! Mismanagement from the corporate headquarters impacted subsidiary branches that were otherwise productive to fail!

This company pays well. There is opportunity for advancement, as well as just lateral moves, if you're losing interest in your current job duties. I've been with the company for 7 years, and am overall happy.

Best place I've ever worked at. Kicking myself for ever leaving. Great supervisors. Plenty of opportunity for advancement. Always liked going to work everyday.

JUst superb and good enviroment to work at. LOs t of areas to learn and plenty of educational benefits. Comapnons very helpfull and managers that are leaders not bosses.

Mangers are very flexible with your schedule. Growth within the company depends on who you know. If you're buddies with a director, you'll get promoted easily.

GEHC is a very good company. They have a solid reputation within hospitals. There are hundreds of unbelievably talented people who work for the company. One of the few negatives however are the frequent RIFs. At times they believe the easiest way to cost out is to eliminate roles and individuals. This adds a significant amount of stress at least once a year (typically fall) to the organization at large.

The company tends to layoff people all the time making poor moral and lack of security. There was always room for advancement and learning if you wanted to pursue it. Lost a lot of good leadership over the last few years.

For what the pay was, the job not the worst. It was just very repetitive and got old very fast. management was fine, it depended on the department. You knew what you were going to do each day and the work was easy. Didnt feel like there was room for growth and it seemed a lot of the employees that had been there for a while were never in a good mood.

Excellent pay and benefits. Smart people, motivated! Difficult to cull out a non-performer. Disturbing changes in strategic direction and mission creates job insecurity. Engineers overrule sound marketing research and marketing know-how.
