Getting to work with plants and flowers is a bonus for me, also I have a lot of free time to catch up on personal stuff like emails as I trade online. At different times of the year the shop is very busy and that's the bit I like the most. Interaction with the customers on special times like christmas, Valentine's day and Mother's day makes this job very worth while. To know someone is about to receive something beautiful from our shop s the best feeling ever, and our customers are never shy about coming back with feed back to let us know how their purchase was accepted and usually how thrilled they were. This really makes any job worth while.

Great atmosphere

I worked here as an agency temp and it was as good as you could hope for with that kind of work! Great atmosphere, they really do their best to get you plenty of hours even if you're on a zero-hour contract, they were all very understanding whenever I had to take time off as well. The work itself is of course not exactly thrilling, and because you usually start as a temp you don't have great job security. But overall, when it comes to this sector, it's a pretty nice place to work.

Le stage chez le fleuriste apporte énormément de connaissances et d'apprentissages. Je le conseille vivement à toute personne n'ayant jamais effectué de stage ou n'ayant pas encore d'expérience professionnelle. Nous sommes confrontés à de nombreux postes, à devoir créer, innover, participer, échanger avec les clients. Mais aussi réfléchir sur l'environnement qui nous occupe, c'est-à-dire se concentrer sur la décoration du fleuriste en mettant plus en avant un produit plutôt qu'un autre. C'est un métier très polyvalent malgré les préjugés. Je le conseille fortement à tout ceux et toutes celles qui s'y intéresse !

I worked at Interflora via a recruitment agency called Brook Street however they only offered 0-Hour Contracts which gave me no warning when they wanted me to work and when they finally dismissed me, However the work environment was pleasant as there was plenty of support if it was needed, your were always being pushed to improve but not too much that it felt like there was too much pressure.

it was a good place to work but I wasn't a secure job which was a shame as I was on tempory job roll. and was put on complaints a lot which wasn't very enjoyable at times.

this job had its ups and downs I liked the fact that customers would call us instead of us calling them. the hours were good I went in early and finished early. when the holidays would come we would have to answers customer complains sometimes and that could sometimes we a challenge.

It's a good place to work. Most the time it was enjoyable but on occasion you can be made to feel like you are a pain when asking for help. No feedback is given on your proformance you are just let go with no warnings

Les employées était vraiment sociable j'ai effectuer de nombreuses vente dans se commerce, fait le ménage et autre j'ai appris a géré une caisse m'occuper des fleur crée des bouquet conseiller les client se stage m'a appris de nombreuses chose et m'a fait découvrir certaines de mes capacités que je ne connaissait pas.

this was a temporary position, taking phone calls and talking to customers, taking there orders, and payments. i learned computer skills and customer care services. it was a very busy and loud work place, the co-workers were all nice people and friendly. the hardest part of the job was dealing with un-satisfied customers in the complaints department, the most enjoyable part of the job was, helping customers get there required request.

Beautiful and worthwhile occupancy

Sadly this florist has closed now, however during the busy periods that I had worked there the job was incredibly worthwhile. There's nothing like a bouquet of flowers that brighten up someone's day and makes the smile during happy and sad times; to be a part of this team was definitely great.

learned a lot about flowers in ways that most people would think of ask exmaple : how can you make flowers last longer. i also learned how to do ribbons for putting around the flowers as that is a long forever skill that i use all the time.
