Your role

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Communication Manager to support and execute the global communication strategy for the Cosmetic Ingredients (CI) Division within our end-to-end marketing organization.
This role will be pivotal in elevating the Symrise brand and reputation, driving visibility, and fostering strong internal and external communications across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Communication Strategy & Coordination
  • Support the CI Communication Director in implementing the global communication strategy.
  • Build and manage a comprehensive global communication calendar in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Lead weekly content coordination meetings with key stakeholders across the Division.
  • Monitor market and customer expectations to guide the development of communication assets (new concepts, visuals...).
Brand Management
  • Act as the global owner of CI branding, ensuring consistent branding application across all regions and business units.
  • Provide education and support on CI branding to the global CI community (Marketing Managers, Regional Marketing...).
  • Develop and manage a network of external graphic designers: sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining contracts.
  • Lead the briefing process for visual asset creation and enforce adoption of brand guidelines across materials.
  • Create and maintain design templates (presentations, ads, banners...) and ensure proper regional adaptation.
  • Oversee and update the CI photo library and coordinate photo shoot production as needed.
Media Relations
  • Coordinate and execute the annual CI media plan with internal functions (Marketing, Global Hubs...) to ensure alignment and coverage.
  • Support communication activities for product launches and major initiatives, including media release coordination.
  • Evaluate opportunities for media partnerships and placements in collaboration with media stakeholders.
  • Assist in the organization and planning of external and internal events (press events, inaugurations...).
  • Manage external suppliers and services related to events and media execution.
Internal Communication
  • Drive employee engagement through internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet, and team events.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communication to ensure alignment with company-wide internal communication initiatives.
  • Share quarterly media coverage updates with the global CI community via platforms like ContactMonkey.

About you
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in global communications, preferably within the cosmetics, beauty, or ingredients sector.
  • Proven experience in Brand Management & Media relations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English (additional languages like French, German, Spanish will be a plus).
  • Soft skills : business acumen, able to navigate in a global cultural environment, process oriented.
  • Experience in design will be an advantage.
