Accounting Operations & Tax Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee accounting records.
• Communicate with client representatives to gather necessary financial information and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare periodic tax declarations, including VAT, corporate tax, and INTRASTAT.
• Review financial accounts and prepare financial statements along with required tax declarations.

Managing Tasks While Respecting Deadlines and Budgets

• Prioritize urgent assignments with the approval of the Engagement Manager.
• Adhere to the weekly schedule and deadlines set by the Engagement Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimize time management and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Work within the allocated budget for each phase of the engagement and promptly report any deviations.
• Staying Informed on Taxation and Relevant Legislation
• Stay informed about updates in accounting and tax regulations.
• Attend relevant training programs to maintain and enhance technical expertise.

• Develop a deep understanding of client industries and market dynamics.
• Apply insights into business models, governance structures, and regulatory frameworks to enhance financial processes.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Bac +3 or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in a fiduciary environment.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and LUXGAAP.
• Solid understanding of VAT, CIT, MBT, NWT, and other tax regulations.
• Proven expertise in corporate accounting.
• Fluent French + English
