A Hostess / Host – Cashier at Cipriani
As Hostess / Host – Cashier at Cipriani, you will be the first and last impression of our guests’ experience. You will welcome guests with warmth and elegance, manage reservations and seating, and handle payments accurately and professionally, so that every visit starts and ends seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests at the door with a warm, elegant and professional attitude, and bid them farewell on departure.
• Manage reservations, the waiting list and table allocation to keep service and the guest flow smooth.
• Answer phone calls, e-mails and booking requests, and keep the reservation system up to date.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and the service team to coordinate seating, special requests and VIP guests.
• Process payments accurately (cash, card and other methods), issue bills and receipts, and handle any corrections or refunds according to company procedures.
• Open and close the cash register, carry out daily cash reconciliation and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with discretion and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Keep the entrance and reception area tidy, welcoming and in line with Cipriani’s standards.

Who are you?

• At least 2 years of experience as Hostess/Host, Receptionist or Cashier, ideally in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
• An elegant presence, impeccable manners and a natural flair for hospitality.
• Accurate and reliable with cash handling; experience with POS and reservation systems (e.g. SevenRooms, OpenTable, TheFork) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
• Well organised, calm under pressure and able to manage several tasks at once during busy service.
• A positive team player who is happy to support colleagues to give our guests the best possible service.
• Flexibility to work full-time, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Already living in Monaco or the surrounding area, within easy commuting distance of the restaurant.
