DataForce by TransPerfect offers global opportunities to work on projects involving data annotation, transcription, and paid studies, helping improve and advance modern technology.

Currently, we are looking for a wide variety of French (France) speakers with various regional accents for a study aimed to improve voice assistant technologies.

This is a fully remote study. You can participate from anywhere within France.

Task Description:

Participants will record short wake-up phrases and scripted utterances typically used when interacting with a voice assistant.

Who is eligible?

To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be born and live in France.
  • Be native speaker of French (France) from any region of France.
  • Have a good command of English as all the project instructions will be in English.
  • Be able to use a mobile phone for this project.
  • Be able to use a wired headset or the device microphone for recording phrases.
  • Have access to a quiet indoor environment to do the recordings.

For this project, we are looking for participants in specific demographic groups to help develop bias free technology that would represent everyone.

Task duration:

The estimated duration of the recording task is 30 minutes.

Compensation:

You will receive $33 USD for your fully completed and accepted assets.

General Referral Bonus Program
