Experienced Native English Nanny (Part-Time) – Paris 17th

Permanent Position | Start: September 2026

A warm and welcoming family based in Paris 17th is seeking an experienced native English-speaking nanny to care for their two children aged 8 years and 2.5 years.

This is a long-term opportunity for a caring, dynamic and engaging professional who enjoys combining childcare, education and language immersion within a respectful family environment.

Children

Boy – 8 years old (CE2)

Young child – 2.5 years old

Schedule (Approx. 13 hours/week)

Monday: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Tuesday: Off

Wednesday: 11:30 am – 4:00 pm

Thursday: 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Friday: 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm

The same schedule will apply during half of the French school holidays, while no childcare is required during the remaining half.

Responsibilities

Collect the youngest child from nursery/school.

Provide attentive, loving and age-appropriate care.

Organise educational and creative activities in English.

Encourage language development through daily conversation.

Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children.

Supervise bath time and evening routine when required.

Support the eldest child with French homework (CE2 level).

Provide approximately 2 hours of conversational English practice per week to maintain fluency and confidence.

Ensure the children's safety, wellbeing and emotional development at all times.

Profile Required

Native English speaker

Good command of French, sufficient to supervise homework.

Previous experience with children of similar ages.

Energetic, proactive and genuinely passionate about child development.

Reliable, organised and committed to a long-term position.

Location : Paris 17th

Salary : 18/20€ net + half pass navigo

Pay: 17.00€ - 20.00€ per hour
